How Does Inspera Originality Work?

Inspera Originality helps educators ensure academic honesty by detecting similarities and preventing plagiarism, even in content generated by AI. Check student submissions in multiple languages against existing source material – this is a whole new level of originality checking.

With our combination of advanced similarity detection algorithms and translation capabilities, you’ll get a detailed view of potential similarities to review so you can make an informed decision as to whether a submission has properly referenced sources or contains plagiarized material.

Our similarity checking feature provides contextual similarity as opposed to traditional similarity checking seen elsewhere in the sector. This means that instead of the commonalities between two sentences, Inspera Originality reviews the relationship between the contexts of those sentences.
