We have been working together with Inspera as our trusted partner since 2016. This partnership has allowed Cambridge University Press & Assessment to modernise key assessments and to bring new scalable digital products to our customers. We have also established a good working dialogue regarding the latest assessment technology changes facing our respective organisations.
Cambridge takes advantage of the Inspera Assessment platform for a number of assessment programmes. Our success in migrating earlier global assessment programmes to Inspera’s on-screen delivery platform gave us confidence in 2024 to migrate Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQs) delivery to Inspera. We successfully completed the CEQ transition project in a period of just three months.
Cambridge is now regularly delivering approximately 700,000 assessment components via Inspera per month across many hundreds of centres worldwide.

Digital assessment is the digitalization of traditional exam and assessment methods that can be taken by a student on a digital device. This can be both on or offline and in a range of formats, from multiple choice tests to formal exams or even coursework submission. Digital assessments can provide immediate feedback to students and offer greater flexibility and accessibility for students in different locations.
Proctored exams are assessments that are supervised by a proctor, someone appointed by an institution to ensure the exam follows regulation.
If delivered face to face, proctored exams are conducted in an invigilated exam hall, where the proctor makes sure proper conduct is maintained in-person. Online proctored exams are a digital version of an invigilated exam hall. During online proctored exams, students are monitored using a proctoring software, ensuring exam integrity is upheld.
